Privacy Statement

Applicability

This privacy statement informs users of the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personally identifiable data by the responsible provider NESTRO Lufttechnik GmbH, Paulus-Nettelnstroth-Platz, 07619 Schkölen 036694 410 [Info(at)nestro.com] on this website (hereinafter "the site").
The basic principles of data protection are specified in the German Federal Data Protection Act (FDPA) and the German Telemedia Act (GTA).

Data Protection Comissioners

The company has appointed the following persons to act as data protection commissioners:
 - Mr. Christian Gotter / c.gotter(at)nestro.de

Access data / server logfiles

The provider (or provider's webspace-provider respectively) collects data about every access to the site (so-called server logfiles). Access data includes:
Name of the accessed website, files, data and time of the access, amount of data transferred, report of successful access, browser type including version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the site visited before), IP-address and the provider from which the request originates.
The provider shall use the logged data solely for statistical analyses needed for the operation, security and optimization of the site. However, the provider reserves the right to retroactively review log data when specific indications suggest that there is a reasonable suspicion of illegal use.

Use of personally identifiable data

Personally identifiable data consists of information that allows identifying a person, meaning, data that can be traced back to one individual. This includes name, email address or the phone number. Data regarding preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by a person are also considered personally identifiable data.
Personally identifiable data will only be collected, used and forwarded by the provider when it is permitted by law or when users consent to such data collection.

Contact

When contacting the provider (e.g. by contact form or email), the user information is stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case follow-up questions should arise.

Comments and submissions

When users comment or leave other submissions on the blog their IP-address will be stored. This is done for the safety of the provider in case of someone posting illegal comments or content (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In such cases the provider can be subject to legal action due to such comments or content, and has therefore an interest in the identity of the author.

Embedded third party services and content

Sometimes this site will incorporate embedded third-party content such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or images hosted on other websites. This always requires that the providers of such content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party") can see the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the presentation of such content. We strive to embed only content of which the respective providers use the IP address solely for content delivery. However, we have no control over the third-party provider storing the IP address, for example, for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us we will inform users accordingly.

On one hand, they facilitate user-friendliness of websites and therefore benefit the users (e.g. when saving login data). On the other hand, they serve the purpose of collecting statistical website-use data which is then analyzed for the purpose of improving the website content. Users have control over the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that allows to limit or entirely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the use and particularly the convenience features of the site will be limited without cookies.
